Ethics Reporting

This is the Ethics Reporting of The 3rd Element.

The 3rd Element is a nonprofit that is committed to acting lawfully, ethically, and with integrity. We encourage you to raise concerns and thank you for taking the time to visit this site.

Purpose

The purpose of this site is to provide information and tools for reporting possible illegal, unethical, or improper conduct, as outlined in our nonprofit’s policies, grant agreements, contracts, and our Code of Conduct. Use of this site is voluntary, and nonprofit policy prohibits nonprofit employees from retaliating against individuals who report in good faith what they perceive to be wrongdoing, violations of law, or unethical conduct.

Reporting Options

If you think an employee or partner (such as a donor, grantee, or contractor) of the nonprofit may have violated nonprofit policies, grant agreements, contracts, or our Code of Conduct, please refer this issue to a member of the nonprofit’s Human Resources, Legal, Management, or relevant state institutions.
You may also submit a report to NAVEX through its EthicsPoint™ online and phone-based reporting system.
In some countries, regulations restrict how a service may be used to report concerns. For example, local laws may:

  • Limit the topic of concern to certain areas of compliance such as anti-bribery, auditing and accounting, banking, and financial matters
  • Prohibit anonymous reports
  • Disallow reports concerning nonprofit personnel except employees in key or management functions

Accordingly, the nonprofit may be limited in its ability to respond to a report submitted through EthicsPoint™ depending on the country of your location or where the reported conduct took place.
